    conversations with god

'You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding. You are peace and joy and light. You are forgiveness and patience, strength and courage, a helper in time of need, a comforter in time of sorrow, a healer in time of injury, a teacher in times of confusion. You are the deepest wisdom and the highest truth; the greatest peace and the grandest love. You are these things. And in moments of your life you have known yourself as these things. Choose now to know yourself as these things always.'

'Seek to create change not because a thing is wrong, but because it no longer makes an accurate statement of Who You Are.'

'Examine your values one by one. Hold them up to the light of public scrutiny. If you tell the world who you are and what you believe without breaking stride or hesitating, you are happy with yourself.'

' Need nothing. Desire everything. Choose what shows up. Feel your feelings. Cry your cries. Laugh your laughs. Honor your truth.'

'In the moment of great tragedy, the challenge always is to quiet the mind and move deep within the soul.'

If you think God looks only one way or sounds only one way or is only one way, you’re going to look right past Me night and day. You’ll spend your whole life looking for God and not finding Her. Because you’re looking for a Him.

Your ideas about right and wrong are just that—ideas. They are the thoughts which form the shape and create the substance of Who You Are. There would be only one reason to change any of these; only one purpose in making an alteration: if you are not happy with Who You Are.

My child, everything in life is holy.

The promise of God is that you are His son. Her offspring. Its likeness. His equal. Ah…here is where you get hung up. You can accept “His son,” “offspring,” “likeness,” but you recoil at being called “His equal.” It is too much to accept. Too much bigness, too much wonderment—too much responsibility. For if you are God’s equal, that means nothing is being done to you—and all things are created by you. There can be no more victims and no more villains—only outcomes of your thought about a thing.

And every Master has likewise had the same message: What I am, you are. What I can do, you can do. These things, and more, shall you also do.

You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding. Choose now to know yourself as these things always.

I mean you can’t lose in this game. You can’t go wrong. It’s not part of the plan. There’s no way not to get where you are going. There’s no way to miss your destination. If God is your target, you’re in luck, because God is so big, you can’t miss.

Yet know this: there is no such thing as an incorrect path – for on this journey you cannot “not get” where you are going.
It is simply a matter of speed—merely a question of when you will get there—yet even that is an illusion, for there is no “when,” neither is there a “before” or “after.” There is only now; an eternal moment of always in which you are experiencing yourself.

The point of life is not to get anywhere—it is to notice that you are, and have always been, already there. You are, always and forever, in the moment of pure creation. The point of life is therefore to create—who and what you are, and then to experience that.

A true Master is not the one with the most students, but one who creates the most Masters.
A true leader is not the one with the most followers, but one who creates the most leaders.
A true king is not the one with the most subjects, but one who leads the most to royalty.
A true teacher is not the one with the most knowledge, but one who causes the most others to have knowledge.
And a true God is not One with the most servants, but One who serves the most, thereby making Gods of all others.
For this is both the goal and the glory of God: that His subjects shall be no more, and that all shall know God not as the unattainable, but as the unavoidable.

Let your love propel your beloveds into the world—and into the full experience of who they are. In this will you have truly loved.

I tell you this: You always get what you create, and you are always creating.
I do not make a judgment about the creations that you conjure, I simply empower you to conjure more—and more and more and more. If you don’t like what you’ve just created, choose again. My job, as God, is to always give you that opportunity.

Your Life is always a result of your thoughts about it—including your obviously creative thought that you seldom get what you choose.

I tell you this: Your Life proceeds out of your intentions for it.

You can choose to be a person who has resulted simply from what has happened, or from what you’ve chosen to be and do about what has happened.
